2) Have you passed the security check?
Slow rebound material is a chemical substance, which has certain harmfulness in terms of chemical composition, so its safety indicators must be controlled in production. Whether the slow rebound toxic and harmful substances are fully volatilized, and whether a pillow is suitable depends on it. Has the safety inspection index passed? 3) Density
Density is the basic indicator of high-grade slow-rebound materials. Generally, the density of polyurethane in the molding process can be 70D-100D, and the cutting process can be 40D-70D. If it exceeds this range, it may be false. The density of 130D-150D exists on the market, which is almost unrealistic for pure polyurethane production enterprises. The only possibility is to add other things, such as those with a larger specific gravity than polyurethane, such as talcum powder and so on. From the point of view of a professional polyurethane sponge technician, 110D density pure polyurethane is still possible, and other possibilities do not exist. In addition, even products of the same density will be very different, mainly due to the difference in formula, process and raw materials. That is to say, high-grade slow-rebound materials must be high-density, but only high-density materials are not necessarily high-grade materials. .
4) Rebound time
Many consumers think that the longer the rebound time, the better. This is a misunderstanding. A better rebound time is about 3–5 seconds. Too short will not give a slow rebound effect; too long will make the body stiff (think about if you roll over, it will not rebound for a long time).
5) Manufacturing process
There are two manufacturing processes for slow rebound: cutting and molding. Cutting is the purchased finished slow-rebound sponge, cut into the shape of a pillow, because the molding is based on cutting instead of mold + additives, no other additives are added, so even the density of pure polyurethane can only reach 40-70 density. Molding is made by a series of processes such as adding additives, foaming, and mold pressing. Due to the addition of other additives, including foaming, softness, etc., the density increases by about 70-100. Feel good. The service life of the pillow has nothing to do with this process.
6) Hand feel and temperature sensing
The high-grade slow-rebound sponge feels very comfortable to the touch. It feels like kneading dough when you squeeze it. The slow-rebound sponge almost feels a little awkward, or it is a little stiff. At the same time, this high-grade slow rebound also has a good temperature sensitivity, it will become soft and hard with the temperature change, and you can see the fingerprint without putting pressure on the hand.
7) Service life
Polyurethane memory foam pillow is mainly related to whether it is pure polyurethane. If it is pure polyurethane, it should not be deformed for more than 5 years. However, if talc and other raw materials are added to increase density and weight, the quality of the pillow is poor, usually only Use 1-2 years.
