2. Loose chassis: When the vehicle travels to a bumpy road section, if the body posture is found to be excessively bumpy and swaying, it is generally a problem with the shock absorber.
3. Abnormal noise: If the shock absorber makes an abnormal noise when the vehicle is driving on a bumpy road, it is very likely that the shock absorber is damaged.
4. Uneven tire wear: When the shock absorber is broken, the wheel will vibrate unevenly during driving. This causes the wheels to roll and other phenomena, so that the part of the tire that contacts the ground is severely worn, and the part that is not in contact is not affected. Over time, the shape of uneven wear will be formed, the vehicle will be unstable, and it will also increase the bumpy discomfort.
Why is the shock absorber damaged and recommended to be replaced in pairs:
1. If the shock absorber is replaced due to normal aging oil leakage, then other shock absorbers are basically in an aging state, and it must not be long after the new shock absorber is replaced, and the other shock absorbers leak again. The oil is gone, so it is better to replace it all over and over again. (Because the working conditions of the front and rear shock absorbers are not the same, it is recommended to replace them in pairs)
2. Since the shock absorber affects the riding comfort of the entire vehicle, if the shock absorbers on the left and right sides of the vehicle are inconsistent in terms of newness and oldness (the old shock absorber may be loose due to aging; while the new shock absorber is tighter ), the operating comfort will be greatly compromised during driving. At the same time, if the vehicle is driven under high-speed extreme conditions, the new and old shock absorbers may also have a certain impact on the driving safety.
